Methodological details
Calculation method
Method developed using field measurements since 2021 (plot-by-plot counting, diameter measurements, taking into account taper and wall thickness when calculating above-ground biomass per hectare)
Audit
A rigorous audit created by AgroCarbone, incorporating real-time plot monitoring (on the AgroCarbone register) and the development of monitoring software for external auditors
Traceability
Project registration on the blockchain and tokenization of carbon credits to ensure traceability and uniqueness, and combat double counting of offset projects (direct link between project owner, auditor and buyer)
